Karachi: Bahria Town Karachi,<\/a><\/strong> the Government of Sindh, and Sindh Mass Transit Authority collaborated to establish a much-needed route for the People\u2019s Electric Bus Service. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of the Secretary to the Government of Sindh Transport & Mass Transit Department, Mr. Abdul Haleem Shaikh along with distinguished members of Sindh Mass Transit Authority, management and residents of Bahria Town Karachi, and honorable members of the media.
\nThis new route will ensure ease of commute between Bahria Town Karachi and Malir Halt from where passengers will get connected to other routes of the People\u2019s Bus Service network. The latest model of electric buses offers ease in commute, comfort, and nominal fare hence benefitting the public in more ways than one.
\nThe residents and the crowd present at the event cheered and welcomed the efforts undertaken by the management of Bahria Town Karachi and the Government of Sindh to bring much-needed options for commuting.
\nA resident of Bahria Town Karachi Mr. Yousuf said that these public-friendly initiatives taken by Bahria Town Karachi and the Government of Sindh are introducing facilities at all levels.\u201d
\nA guest at the event Mr. Hamid said that the People\u2019s Bus Service was the need of the time for public commuting between Karachi and Bahria Town who will now be able to commute in a clean and quality environment.\u201d
\nThe government of Sindh Mass Transit Plan will have far-reaching impacts and positive implications on the transport system of the city and with the inauguration of this route of People\u2019s Bus Service, the residents of BTK and the general public will reap the benefit.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
